Before you start
Update Claude Code to the current version.
Use a Loop account with access to at least one Project.
Confirm that your organization allows third-party plugin marketplaces.
Add Patronage and install Loop
Run these commands in your shell. Adding the marketplace makes Loop available; it does not install the plugin until you run the second command.
The commands shown use Claude Code’s default user scope. To keep the marketplace and plugin in one project or local checkout, add --scope project or --scope local to both of the first two commands.
claude plugin marketplace add patronage/loop-pluginclaude plugin install patronage-loop@loop-pluginclaude mcp login plugin:patronage-loop:patronage-loop- 01
Confirm the installation scope
The commands above install at user scope. If your organization requires a narrower scope, use the same --scope project or --scope local option for both the marketplace and plugin.
- 02
Reload the plugin
Run
/reload-pluginswhen Claude Code asks, or restart Claude Code. - 03
Start authentication
The login command opens browser authentication. Alternatively, open
/mcp, select Loop, and chooseAuthenticate.
Connect your Loop account
- 01
Sign in to Loop
Continue in the browser with the Loop account your team invited.
- 02
Choose a Project
If you can access several Projects, choose the one this connection should use. Loop selects your only accessible Project automatically.
- 03
Review the connection
Confirm the requesting application, selected Project, and requested access, then choose
Allow connection.
Each connection keeps its own Project
Changing the active Project in one agent does not change Loop admin or another Claude, Codex, or Cursor connection.
Verify the connection
Ask the agent: “Show me the marketing Projects available in Loop and tell me which one is active.” Setup is complete when the response lists your accessible Projects and names the active one.
Confirm the active Project before asking the agent to run a workflow or prepare a change.
Revoke access
Sign in at https://loop.patronage.com/admin/profile and open Agent Connections. Find this connection and choose Revoke. Loop denies its next request. You can reconnect later through the same browser authorization flow.
