Install Loop in Claude Desktop

Install the Patronage Loop plugin, connect your Loop account, then choose the Project Claude should use.

Before you start

  • Update Claude Desktop to the current version.

  • Confirm that Plugins appears under Customize.

  • You can authorize Loop before joining a Project, but Project-scoped work requires an active membership.

Install the Loop plugin

    Open Plugins

    In Claude Desktop, open Customize, choose Plugins, then choose Browse plugins.

    Find Loop

    Search for Patronage Loop and open its plugin page.

  3. 03

    Install the plugin

    Choose Install. The plugin adds Loop’s guidance and remote connection together.

  4. 04

    Connect

    Choose Connect or Sign in when Claude prompts you to authorize Loop.

Public availability

Patronage Loop is still in private marketplace review. This guide documents the launch flow; wait for the public listing before attempting installation.

Connect your Loop account

    Sign in to Loop

    Continue in the browser with the Loop account your team invited.

  2. 02

    Review the connection

    Confirm the requesting application, its access to the Projects authorized for your account, and the requested scopes. Choose Allow connection to return to the agent.

  3. 03

    Select a Project in the agent

    Ask the agent to list your Loop Projects, then choose the active Project before starting Project-scoped work.

Each connection keeps its own Project

Changing the active Project in one agent does not change Loop admin or another Claude, Codex, or Cursor connection.

Verify the connection

Ask the agent: “Show me the marketing Projects available in Loop.” A new connection lists your accessible Projects and reports that selection is required.

Choose a Project in the agent, then ask which Project is active. Setup is complete when the response names the Project you selected.

Confirm the active Project before asking the agent to run a workflow or prepare a change.

Revoke access

Sign in at https://loop.patronage.com/admin/profile and open Agent Connections. Find this connection and choose Revoke. Loop denies its next request. You can reconnect later through the same browser authorization flow.

Troubleshooting

  • Loop does not appear in Browse plugins

    Confirm that your Claude plan and organization allow plugins, then refresh the plugin browser.

  • The plugin is installed but not connected

    Open Loop under Customize → Plugins and choose Connect. Complete the browser flow before starting a new chat or Cowork task.

  • No Projects are available

    Ask a Loop administrator to add your account to a Project. Reinstalling the plugin does not change membership.

Install Loop somewhere else

Claude Code

Install the Loop plugin from Patronage’s Claude Code marketplace, authenticate in your browser, and confirm the active Project.
